29 September 2025| The Faculty of Fisheries and Aquaculture Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, has organized a Fieldwork program for the Fisheries Instrumentation Technology (FIS2223) and Fisheries Product Processing & Marketing (FIS2324) courses on 25 – 28 September 2025.
This program involves 99 2nd Year Fisheries Diploma students who have the opportunity to gain practical experience through activities such as:
This fieldwork was also joined by two instructors from the Malaysian Fisheries Academy, the Malaysian Fisheries Department and four students from Nagasaki University, Japan.
This fieldwork not only strengthens theoretical understanding in the classroom, but also provides real exposure to the challenging and meaningful world of fisheries.
