KUALA NERUS, 23 June 2026 – Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) officially kicked off its Orientation Week Minggu Jalinan Mesra (MJM) today for the new intake of the Diploma in Fisheries program for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Hosted by the Faculty of Fisheries and Food Science (FPSM), the orientation program is designed to help the new cohort smoothly transition into campus life. Throughout the week, students will participate in briefing sessions, ice-breaking activities, and campus tours to familiarize themselves with the faculty’s state-of-the-art facilities and academic expectations. The faculty management and lecturers extended a warm welcome to the freshmen, encouraging them to fully embrace their academic journey in the vital field of fisheries and food science.
