14 October 2025| Three SM Aquaculture Science and 2 SM Applied Fisheries Science students have been selected to participate in the 2025 International Marine Summer Camp at Ocean University of China (OUC), Qingdao, which took place earlier this month. Their participation was fully sponsored by OUC and the Chinese Ambassador Scholarship. Even more proud, Harrishvar Pillai, a final year student of the program, was selected as the international representative and had the opportunity to deliver a speech titled “Ocean of Discoveries”. In his speech, he emphasized UMT’s contributions in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, as well as the importance of global collaborative networks in learning and research for sustainable food sources and marine resource management.
