Kemaman, 9 May 2026 – Bachelor of Applied Science (Fisheries) Group 3 students have carried out a Community Support Program with children from the Alhijrah Welfare Home and Orphanage, Kemaman.
Various interesting activities have been carried out to strengthen relationships in addition to providing early exposure to the fisheries field to the siblings involved. Among them is the sharing of knowledge about transparent fish, an introduction to the world of fisheries and basic fishing techniques which have been well received.
This program not only provides valuable experience to the participants, but also fosters the values of empathy, leadership and volunteerism among the students.
Hopefully this small effort can inspire and spark interest in the world of knowledge and fisheries in the future.
